Barcelona star Andres Iniesta believes a combination of Chelsea
transfer target Radamel Falcao, Barca teammates Xavi, Carles Puyol and
Sergio Busquets, and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo would create
the perfect footballer.
The Spain star picked two of his international colleagues as he
selected complimentary footballing attributes to put together his
ultimate player.
Atletico Madrid striker Falcao is a €60m transfer target for Chelsea, and the Colombian international won praise from Iniesta for his unrivalled heading ability.
"The perfect player? Falcao's ability in the air, Puyol's
personality, Xavi's right foot, Messi's talent and left foot, Busquets'
tactical awareness and Cristiano's eye for goal," Iniesta told Marca en zone.
Chelsea and Manchester City are thought to be competing for the
January signing of Falcao. Earlier last week, Atletico general manager
Gil Marin revealed a €60m deal for the striker will relieve the club's financial troubles, opening the door to a potential mega-money bid for City or Chelsea.
Falcao has been one of the most in-form strikers in world football
over the last 12 months, and already has eight La Liga goals this season
- the same amount as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chelsea are thought to be considering a January move for a forward
after failing to secure a replacement for Didier Drogba in the summer.
Fernando Torres and Danny Sturridge are the Stamford Bridge's side sole
recognised senior strikers.
