Cole tenders personal apology to Bernstein

Football Association Chairman David Bernstein has revealed that Ashley Cole apologised to him personally on Monday night over his offensive Twitter message.
Bernstein also stressed that England manager Roy Hodgson will decide whether the Chelsea full-back plays against San Marino in Friday's World Cup qualifier but won't  be offered the England captain's armband when he makes 100th appearance for his country.
Cole could get a fine of about 300,000 pounds.

Lampard to China?

Frank Lampard is weighing up a £1million-a-month move to China.
The Chelsea stalwart is poised to end his 11-year association at Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in the summer.
And according to The Sun, Lampard, 34, is being chased by Shanghai Shenhua - the club who have already signed former Blues duo Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka - while Beijing Guoan are also interested.
Lampard is free to speak to any club in January. David Beckham's LA Galaxy could also be an option for the former England international.
Arsenal won't bow to Walcott pressure

Arsenal have warned Theo Walcott they will not be held to ransom over his pay demands.
The England forward, aged 23, could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season after snubbing a new deal worth £75,000 a week.

Walcott's representatives will hold talks with the Arsenal hierarchy during the international break in a bid to thrash out a new agreement.
But Gunners chairman Peter Hill-Wood insists that the club will not break their wage structure for Walcott, who has less than 12 months left on his current contract.

Lewandowski: Its United vs Juventus

Manchester United will have to battle with Juventus if they hope to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski in January, it has been claimed.
The 24-year-old Poland international is one of the most hotly pursued forwards in Europe after his 30 goals last season helped Dortmund win an historic German league and cup double.
It was reported last week that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had identified Lewandowski as a potential acquisition, and was in attendance at the Etihad Stadium to watch him in action against Manchester City.

Judge our Premier League chances at Christmas, asks Chelsea boss Di Matteo

Roberto Di Matteo has insisted his Chelsea side should not be rated as Premier League title challengers until Christmas.
Chelsea are currently four points clear of Manchester United and Manchester City at the top of the table, having gone unbeaten in the league so far this season. Defending champions City have also yet to lose but have drawn three games, whereas Chelsea have dropped points only once, away to Queens Park Rangers in September.

  1. I really don't know why Cole has a high affinity for controversies, that dude has always been swimming in them... Well i like his fine though, a whopping 300,000 pounds!!! Jeez, that would feed South Sudan for 20 years. I'll advice Lamps to head out to China, now is the time to make some good retirement 'bonus'. It might be too late for him next year cos an injury always reduces a player's stock. As for that Walcott boy, he should go and sit his ass somewhere... Wetin him dey play sef, if he had been tall, i would have suggested a fine career for him in full time modelling but...... And finally Mr Lewandowski, well i argued once before that my team (Man Utd) didn't need Mr RVP. I was wrong before and i might be wrong again cos i don't see the sense in buying him when we all know where our problems lie.. MIDFIELD!
